I being from India, obviously took more leisure to interact with him. Was a good trade for some entertainment :) ofcourse all is a scam but yeah it was funny So pleased to find this post. Honestly, even now I don’t know that is it whether true or not. He said it is what people are jealous of as they wish they could stand up for truth like I do but also it is still my worst feature. Some people can easily be fooled by these people and loose lots of money I must admit at first I thought he was genuine. Unlike some of these stories, he wrote something down on a piece of paper and crumbled it.
I stopped him and said I don’t believe in luck… I believe in Karma…. He then told me to blow on the paper and open it. Yet the specific factual information he cannot provide, unless you volunteer the information. Than he said I should keep the stone for good luck. He said he was looking for the owner and he knew the owner. I just encountered the exact same modus operandi today in downtown Toronto.
5 minutes of subsequent googling brought me here. A very clever scam and still no idea how he did the paper switch. He then did the trick again with a number I selected, my year of birth, a colour I selected from a choice of three and he noted that health and business were important to me.. He told me I looked rich, and that I have a rich heart. Appears this little trick is a worldwide phenomenon as I’ve seen references in other countries too. .
